“Jaywalking Kills!”

Wait a sec. What is “Jaywalking”? Does it mean “Walking with Jay”?

Well, perhaps some students including me may not understand that thingy… Jaywalking means crossing the road at the place that actually you must not cross. Errr check your dictionary if you still don’t understand it XD

Recently, I saw a banner saying “Jaywalking Kills!” at the place near MAE building in NTU.

Yeah. I really believe that there are so many many people jaywalk near that place. But does that written thing will reduce the number of people jaywalking there?

Errrr…. who knows? Who will really want to know though? Hahaha…

Let’s say… Imagine if there are very nearby crossing places at that area. In that case, pedestrians will not need to jaywalk anymore. However, many drivers may complain because of too many short stopping places or too many humps.

Hmm… so?

I don’t know. Perhaps many some people may still jaywalk there.
