Reflect! [Eleganza 2009: Danse Capriccioso]
Thanks to everyone who supported NTU Piano Ensemble Annual Concert “Eleganza 2009: Danse Capriccioso”.
[Aw... I'm not good at saying thank you -_-]
I don’t know whether that was a great success [but this guy said so]. I just know something good happened after the end of each concert.
I would like to sum up what I’ve learnt from being one of the committee and performers.
Less than 1 Week Countdown
Date: 22 (Sunday) & 23 (Monday) Feb
Time: 7.30 pm
Venue: Esplanade Recital Studio
Duration: 90-100 minutes
Monday tickets are very available. 
A Good Music Director…
I’m talking in terms of NTU Piano Ensemble.
Available maincomm positions in NTU PE are usually chairperson, vice chairperson, secretary, music director, business manager, financial controller, and publication officer. Well, NTU PE has members to be organized also…
If we think the club like a human body, we can assume like the following…
- Chairperson as brain and eyes
- Vice chairperson as ears and neck
- Secretary as hands
- Music director as heart
- Business manager as nose
- Financial controller as stomach
- Publication officer as skin
- Members as the body
All the above don’t make sense anyway… What I’m trying to say is that the music director must be the busiest post. The music director should be the one who cannot enjoy the Master Classes and performances. He has to take care all the members during such events.
Wait… How if there are.. say… 50 members? How can he attract members to join Master Classes and performances if most of them just want play-play in the club? On the other hand, everyone wants quality improvement. So, how?
